When the life of the civil engineer Thomas Telford was being celebrated in 2007 Trevor Hill presented a talk on how Shropshire gained from Telford’s innovations.
He told us something about the life of this famous man and also what at improvements he made to roads, bridges and canals that he constructed in the county.
